Meet artist FRANZ TRINK

In 2002, after a serious illness and subsequent visions, Austrian artist Franz Trink created a painting 5m long by 2.2m high depicting man’s struggle for world peace.

Upon its completion, he cut the painting into six slivers and sent them to six prominent religious leaders and political world leaders with peace policy and figures of influence. Some of the recipients include The Dalai Lama, Pope John Paul II, The Archbishop of Canterbury William Rowan, Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Arun among others.

His belief was that in doing this....the painting would be reassembled when world peace was finally realized.

This is a story that spans the globe as we set out to track down these pieces, learn more of the people who possess them and the historic and spiritual meaning it has for them. The journey will conclude when the painting is reassembled and whole once again!

This is the setting of a great adventure film, as story told with the same excitement and intrigue as Raiders of the Lost Ark, National Treasure and The Da Vinci Code. And what makes this great story so fascinating and intriguing that it’s real!

These pieces exist and we intend to find them!

We will take the audience on an adventure to the four corners of the world as we unravel the whereabouts of the pieces and find out what happens when the painting is returned to its original form!
